They steal your money!!!!
by ALarsen
I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. Used to go there about ten years ago but the food does not taste as good as it did before.
They ran out of some of the items which was part of a particular dish (macaroni pie). The curry was not well done. Watered down would be the best description. The Sorrel was awful. I get better food in my own kitchen.
Also, they added an extra $5 on my Visa which was NOT authorized. I beleive the term for that is FRAUD!!!!
Can't even reach them for reimbursement.
i love this place

Best Roti in LA! Great TRINIDADIAN food.
by Rotihunter
I travel the world and will always look for home cooked food. I was fortunate to find this fine establishment in Los Angeles. The food is SUPERB and the service is as you would want anywhere; SUPERB and prompt.
The kitchen is efficient and very clean and the quality of food for the price is on par with a restaurant of this type. I enjoy taking my family there for a taste and reminder of home and it is always full of friendly patrons who all seem to know each other and who welcome the new customer with that West Indian warmth.
Highly recommended and there is ample parking.
- Pros: Parking, Friendly Staff
- Cons: None really, reminds you of a neighbourhood restaurant in Trinidad
No longer great since they changed ownership!
by montrealgirl
I used to love this place but the food has gone downhill since they changed ownerships!
The roti is still good but the patties are nowhere near as great as they used to be. I am no longer a regular and I am looking for a new a Carribean place that serves "Authentic" food!
Places like Cha Cha Cha need not be suggested but if anyone knows of a great place that serves authentic island food please forward me the info! Thanks.
Best Roti in the West!

Not a fancy restaurant, just a small local joint with great food. Take some to go, left overs rock!
