In Short – Since first opening its doors in 1982, this family-run restaurant has become known for its served-all-day, soul food style breakfast: Wings 'n' waffles entice while egg combinations feature a mind-boggling selection of meats, from turkey sausage and T-bone steak to catfish and pork chops. Daily lunch specials such as Monday meatloaf, Tuesday turkey wings and Sunday chicken with gravy are also a draw. Just be forewarned: The homemade biscuits are made on Saturday and Sunday only. –

No Complaints, Just Compliments!

Serving Spoon Reigns with the Crown of Divine Breakfast Spot! Dining aside singer, Raphael Saadiq, alone maintains my interest. But the food is what keeps me coming back. Boo, order Angie's Special #2!!!

Yuck! Hair in my food!

by ale25g at Citysearch

This was the first time I dined at the restaurant. When I told the hostess about the hair in my food she said she would take care of it. Then the server brought us our check. I was still being charged for the food. I asked the server about the hair in my food. She then said she was going to tell the manager. When the manager made it to the table she looked at me as if I was a criminal. She said "I already talked to my cooks and they said it was not theirs. My cooks are Mexican!" To sum it all up I had to pay for my food and with no apology. This tells me a great deal of a restaurant. If they will let that happen.... who knows what other nasty disgusting things they are doing in their kitchen?

  • Cons: Horrible customer service!
