Great value, location, and modern hotel. The Ocean View Hotel's location was excellent, across from the beach and pier, and one block from the Third Street Promenade and shopping mall. The rooms were clean and nice, despite other reviews I have read. And the free breakfast and free internet is a bonus. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay again.

Clean and affordable. I was looking for a place to crash after a night of partying. I looked at all of the hotels in the area. I was glad that I chose this one. For the price it couldn't be beat. All though it is not a 5 star hotel, it is situated right across from the beach/pier, it's clean and as soon as we arrived (10am) the room was ready for us. If your not looking to spend $300- $500 a noght just for a place to crash i would recomend you staying here.
