I go to Brunos for lunch and dinner all the time. I like the service there and of course the food. It's not expensive and the dishes are all good and yummy. My favorite is the Spagetti with meat sauce!

Awesome Italian

My wife and I stumbled into this little place off the street based on smell alone. The aroma of garlic and italian spices was overwhelming to us. When we were speaking of the smell and "debating on trying this place out," a couple of older gentlemen from the street spoke highly of the restaurant and cauxed us inside.

Once inside, we knew that we had found a great spot. There were only 10 - 14 tables covered in the basic red checkerboard table cloth and a single waitress working the room. 6-8 other parties sat with us in the same area, but it did not feel crowded. The closeness of the kitchen to the dining area gives the restaurant a family style, hole in the wall kind of feel to the atmosphere.

The real reason we will return has to be the food though. Our noses did not let us down, my lasagna was extraordinary and my wife's chicken vesuvio was amazing. The lasagna was full of cheese and meat and the red sauce was definitely homemade. Bread was served with the meals and we skipped the salad so we could attempt to stuff as much authentic italian in as possible. We did not succeed, but had nice lunches the next day.

Next time I return, we'll have a pizza and salad. At least 3 other groups were having a pie that Tuesday night.

This is a great hole-in-the-wall italian restaurant. The eggplant parmagiana and spaghetti amatriciana are EXCELLENT! Bruno's is a great place to bond with your family/friends or to take a date! Saturday nights are more crowded than other nights.

Brunos is the best Pizza in LA. It is real, New York pizza. Great, friendly place. Love the waiter. Love the cheap chianti. Just the best.
