Amazing customer service - standing by their work 100%. A dear friend recommended VOX Salon - so I went with her one afternoon to see if they could right a wrong that happened with another stylist. It was a repair job - so owner operator, Carmine stepped in and did everything possible to get my hair back to its desired color. She was nice and she was honest and straightforward. She wanted to make sure I walked away knowing that she cared as much as I did about my hair - not that I am totally vain or anything - but once you get a bad color job, it takes a few months to get it back. So a few weeks later I noticed my color was not right and that my roots were exposed - so I marched back in hoping that Carmine could help - not only did Carmine help but she took three hours working on lightening my hair, and wouldn't accept a dime for her tireless efforts. I call that HUGE customer service.

I left feeling better about my hair and knowing that even with the most expensive hairstylists and personal stylists I have ever used in the past - I have never experienced someone standing behind their own work so completely.

My hair is still in a process...and I believe that with my third visit to VOX I will have my desired color back and that I will continue to patronize VOX especially Carmine.

I am not a stickler for ambiance - because I have been to them all - - however, I found the place to be clean, cute and the staff was accommodating beyond reproach - I was offered cookies, cold or hot beverages and great gossip rags to read!

rudest people anywhere!. My first impression of the "garage salon" was, huh. However after meeting the unfriendly staff, I vowed never to return! My stylist actually said, " I'm in the zone, please don't talk to me". It was not my best salon experience.

Editorial Review. Friendly and current Santa Monica salon uses & sells Bumble & Bumble products for cuts, color and styling.

Simply the best little hair salon. Carmine has been cutting my hair for years. She is absolutely fabulous with coloring my hair and giving the cut the suits my hair texture. Also, this salon carries Bumble & Bumble products which in my opinion are worth every penny. Check it out for yourself and see!

Great cut for great price. This salon takes walk-ins, which is convenient if you're in need of a good haircut right away, and don't have time/inclination to schedule several weeks in advance. The prices are good: My first cut was $55, $10 off since it was my first visit. $66 for a shampoo/haircut/blowdry is a bargain, especially in L.A. The quality was excellent, comparable to other hair salons that I've tried that are much more expensive. Parking on Ocean Park is metered, but there are plenty of free spots on side streets nearby.

Best Little Salon!. Carmine and the other stylists at Vox are great! They are friendly and helpful and all have great skills. They carry all bumble and bumble products too!
