Chat is BACK- NEW Location. Hey--Chat is BACK! new location at 126 South Barrington Place #310-472-1311... The RETREAT is Beautiful, serene and easy parking at the lot next door ( they validate). I have been going to Chat for many years and she's such a pleasure to "chat" to- warm, funny & genuine. She give the BEST facials and is joined with Yoko No, Tammie Siegel, and Lanie Pham ( nail technician. )-- Do yourself a favor and GO!

Good Service. I have been to Brentwood retreat twice in the last two months and have found my skin to be much healthier looking after each session. A facial, which I thought would last 30-45 min, lasted nearly 90 minutes. The therapist took her time and explained what she was using.

The decor is very simple. The rooms are well equipt and the bed is comfortable. I will continue to go and would recommend it to anyone.

Best facials in town. There is so much hype when it comes to skincare. I felt that the staff at the Brentwood Retreat really care about skin.

Finally, hard wax!. This was one of the few places in LA that uses hard wax for a brazillian. Personally, I much prefer hard wax because it causes less skin trauma and is able to pick up on the shorter hairs so if you want to try hard wax, this is the place. The staff was friendly and the place is unpretentious. I had no problems getting an appointment - they were very flexible with me. All in all, a good experience.

Clean without feeling clinical. Sterile without feeling cold. The small, tidy spa forgoes ostentatious floral arrangements and ubiquitous waterfalls in favor of a smarter, sparser decor. Spacious, private treatment rooms are washed in muted earth tones.

The Services
Specializing in facials, body treatments and massage, therapists are knowledgeable and friendly. The massage table's heated liner, placed underneath a thick cotton sheet, adds a cozy touch, as does the lavender scented cloth draped over the padded headrest. The full body, deep tissue massage is fabulous, but not for the timid: Don't be surprised if your therapist hops up onto the simple, sturdy table in order to work her knees into your bare back. Lotions used in lieu of oils leave your skin and hair far less greasy, while a touch of eucalyptus oil on the nape of your neck helps loosen muscles and open airways. Fight the urge to try the Alpha capsule, unless a stint in this vibrating, 110-degree egg-shaped machine already comes with your body wrap or cellulite treatment.
