Yum! Bagels!

NYBD has the best bagels in LA as far as I am concerned. I love the "no frills" atmosphere and their coffee is good too. You can get breakfast for two under $10! Yes, the service can be cold, but who cares, they get what you want quickly! Their everything bagel with "light on the light cream cheese" is my order almost every time now. My husband gets the same and adds on a doughnut. We would eat there every day if we could!

Crispy bagels, tasty cream cheese, lavish sandwiches

I went there on a Monday morning and we experienced a very stressed out and bugged service. The woman who took our order was pretty much on edge. However, the food was very good and the variety of bagel flavors was enormous. I would highly recommend the "Honey Walnut Cream Cheese" spread. It came generously spread on my blackberry bagel with walnut pieces and honey. The cream cheese was not too sweet though.
My friend had a sandwich generously piled with salami and turkey.
