Fantastic Apartments/Hotel Building in Santa Moncia. The Embassy is an incredible find. Not only is it in a superb location, walking distance from the Third Street Promenade and Ocean Avenue Park, but the rooms are delightful! Cozy, spacious, luscious garden views. The Embassy has a ton of charm. I would nickname it the Chateau Marmont of Santa Moncia. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in La for a few days, weeks, or months!
Great find. I stayed in Santa Monica on a trip up the coast to San Francisco and friend told me about this place. The room was spacious and even had a full kitchen. The price seemed reasonable for the area though everything it seemed everything is expensive in this area. It is located in a neighborhood so I felt like I had my own apartment which was nice and very relaxing. There are a lot of great things within walking distance and I hardly used my car. Staff was nice and the place was clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Classic elegance, ideal grounds and large apartment quarters offer a touch of class three blocks from the beach..
In Short
Just a stroll from the Pacific and mere blocks from posh Montana Avenue and the lively Third Street Promenade, this Moorish Mediterranean boutique hotel is for travelers who are seeking a truly authentic Southern California beach experience. Secluded elegance reigns at this 1927 Santa Monica property, which features a collection of individually furnished suites that offer fully equipped period kitchens, separate bedrooms, antiques, iron beds and pristine '20s bathrooms.
Not as good as hoped for.... Stayed here 5 days in Aug-Sept Pros: Beautiful, friendly & helpful staff, comfortable & clean rooms. Cons: Noisy, no AC or Fans ANYWHERE, no parking.
