Spumoni - tiny Italian spot for big eaters!. I ordered the gnocchi and my boyfriend got the chicken Siciliana at Spumoni Italian restaurant. Our entrees took about 15 minutes to prepare during which time we had some Caprese (bufala mozzarella cheese with sliced roma tomatoes). Our food tasted great and we both couldn't complain about anything.

Mmmmmmm...... Delicious. A rare gem. The staff is always kind and attentive. Apparently I have to write 100 characters, so here it goes.

Consistently delicious. A great neighborhood Italian restaurant. They have a full menu with all the very best Italian dishes including a special Gnocchi menu -- they're specialty! I always take out of town guests here. They wait staff is attentive, but not bothersome, your glass will never be empty and your breadbasket full! The wine list offers glasses of house wine for $6 or $8 or you can purchase more premium wine. The $6 house wine was a bit watery so definitely recommend investing $2 more for a better glass.

Great food, great value, great service. I have been eating here for about 12 years and the food is still amazing, the prices are right and the people are so friendly. I wish it were a bit larger or had more locations, because it's always packed-but that's what happens when the food is great. Spumoni is always a solid bet.

Great food, cheap prices. I like this place, it's a little crowded and a little loud but the servers are very friendly and the food is great- all my favorites and some decent wines. I love the caprese and several of the pastas- my bf is a big fan of the gnocci. I like that they give a little piece of tiramisu to share at the end of the meal. It's small but after a giant pile of pasta, it's perfect.

Editorial Review. Casual eatery serves northern and southern Italian fare and also offers a gnocchi bar. Delivery, takeout available.

Our Neighborhood Favorite. My husband and I live around the corner from Spumoni and eat there often. The food is good, but the ambience and service always make our meals a pleasure. The staff is friendly, and the tight quarters and busy atmosphere inside the restaurant it fun. On warm nights, sitting outside is also a great option. Spumoni also offers takeout, which we take advantage of often. The Italian salad is our favorite -- and it's big enough for two!

Great neighborhood restaurant. When I want to go out for dinner and am not looking for a "date" place, attitude, the scene, etc., I always come back to Spumoni. It's simple, fast, has very good food, is reasonably-priced, and has a fun, festive atmosphere. And as a nice touch, they'll sometimes bring you a complimentary glass of wine while you're waiting outside for your table. What more can you ask for? :)

Adequately Filling. I was surprised at the high rating given Spumoni Italian after experiencing an evening of only adequate food, overcrowded furnishings, noise, and slow service. The kitchen, located amidst the patrons, generates lots of energy, so if you need an upper with your meal, this may be the right place. The staff was genial, even when we had to ask a second time for an ice bucket for the wine. The parking area behind the restaurant is a zoo (a few spaces tightly squeezed together with a bad angle for entering/exiting the spaces. Use street parking if you go there.

Tasty but salty!. The roasted bell pepper and eggplant appetizer was excellent. Our entrees, the lasagna and the baked rigatoni with eggplant, was a bit salty. Maybe it was the cheese. Overall, it's a quaint little date restaurant.
