At midday this simple, counter-service eatery draws a business-lunch crowd, but come evening local gym rats, police officers and firemen line up for the non-greasy grub. Patrons place orders at the register and wait for their orders of the signature rotisserie chicken and sides like sweet butternut squash and slightly spicy red potatoes. I have been to this chain at other locations. Food - I like the food but I can agree with some of the other comments that most items are very similar. Service - Just ok, the staff is not outwardly rude, but they are not necessarily courteous or outgoing either. Setting - REALLY LOUD. I went during lunch and the noise inside was almost unbearable. I couldn't even talk across the table. I think it is made worse by the design of the place(flat walls, tiled floors, hard ceiling). Crowd - A lot of stroller moms mixing with some local people who work in the area.

The food is good, but you will be eating chicken - as you'd expect. The menu is not that varied. When I come here I either get the chinese chicken salad or the chicken wrap (their specialty). The food gets made fast, so it's basically fast food, but it's fresh and healthy. The problem for me is, I don't like to eat that much chicken, so I haven't been here in a while. But, when you are in the area and need to grab a quick lunch alone or with a friend, you have to consider California Chicken - you can seat yourself, serve your own drinks from the fountain, and get in and out for under or around ten bucks.
