Cool place. This place is ok, the Bartenders are what makes this place great. Crowd seems to be very friendly as wel. Food is not bad either. Their burgers are awesome! With all that being said, Id definately come here again!

(Parking might be a bit of a pain but its still not that bad)

No go for Monday Night Football. Do not go here for Monday Night Football, this bar is giving priority to their "Trivia Night" and the hostess will try and remove you from your table (regardless of how much you are spending on drinks) so that a trivia geek can take over.

Raise a pint o' Guiness and watch the game at this no-frills Santa Monica pub serving some 50 whiskeys and scotches, not to mention corned beef hash, cabbage, steak and other traditional vittles from. In Short
The sister location to the popular Main Street outpost, this green-colored pub still holds its own as a (slightly) divey destination for locals, rugby and soccer sports clubs, rowdy regulars and, of course, Irish lads and lasses. Weekend nights and big-game days are often raucus, but the selection of brews, whiskeys and spirits as well as piping hot dishes of affordable fare--everything from New York strip steak served with mashed potatoes and peas and carrots to corned beef hash--keeps the crowd in a good mood.

cheap. Cheap ingredients used in their foods, beer and food is over priced, they don't serve pitchers, music is lame, etc... This place is not a whole in the wall by any means, so you would expect the owner to at least invest some more money on quality. But hey... at least the Bartenders are cool.

Just Eat and Drink....... Did you ever consider that your girlfriend really can't sing, and that the people in the bar were trying to be polite and make her feel good? Did you really ask the DJ about the contest, and then insist on getting paid the money because you thought she won? Did you really drive 20 miles to a hole in the wall pub to do this? If this is the case, you have bigger issues than rating fish and chips on an internet website. Oh, and good luck with the girlfriend. Note to self, they sell these online.... have her sing at home and give her a $20 from time to time.

This place is a waste of time and money!!!. my girlfriend and I went to this place for a karaoke contest that they advertised for wednesday night for $100. we got there and the place was pretty small not many people there kind of a hole in the wall place. It seemed like a kick back neighborhood pub. We hung out for a couple hours spending $6 dollars a beer and my girlfriend song quite a few songs. The response was outstanding. Everyone there was saying that she won the contest before it was over. Then at 12:30 when the contest was over the KJ packed up his stuff and the people working there acted like nothing happened. I asked the KJ about the contest and he tried to convince me that there was not 15 people there for the the contest. I counted more than that singing. Then he said that the bar had to make some money . I called before we went and the bartender said they always give a prize up to $100. We drove 20 miles to this place thinking there really was a contest. I asked the bartender who won. He said this girl won that just showed up at the end of the night. Based on the response from the crowd that girl didn't win. The point is that there is no business on wednesday and they came up with this gimmick to get people in there on there slow nights. The bartender james offered to buy me a beer if I came back next week. I highly recommend never going to this place. The beer is too expensive and the entertainment was lacking. Not to mention that they are false advertising just to get people to go to their lame bar.

Always a good option. When nothing more exciting is an option during the weekend O'briens is always a decent option. Single guys beware - Main St is a sausage fest. Bring your own girl(s).

Best bar west of the Mississippi!. Great hang out place, large variety of food, liquor, and beer. Very social atmosphere. And most of all, friendly bartenders, the guys there treat you like friends. It get's a bit packed on Friday/Saturday nights, but always with good people. Highly recommended!

(Oh, their burgers are amazing....)

Best hang. O'Brien's has been around for more than a decade, and the "regulars" have been hanging out there for years. It has a great mix of people, and all are welcoming to newcomers. The menu is very diverse. You can choose from the typical "bar food" like hot wings, and potato skins, to great entrees that take you back to Ireland. It also includes a tasty selection of salads for those watching the waistline. And if you're just there to drink, the cocktails are spectacular, and there's a great selection of beer on tap and in the bottle. The owner has made a point of hiring great people who are very attentive. He's created an atmosphere that warrants coming back over and over again. There's also something for everyone. Watch your favorite teams play on the beautiful new High Definition televisions, test your useless knowledge with trivia where you could win cash prizes, and if you think you can carry a tune, there's also karaoke. And, last but certainly not least, St. Patrick's Day at O'Brien's is OFF THE HOOK!

Amazing Irish BLT & Fries, oh and Fish and Chips!. I love this place, the food is great! They have good lunch specials too! Parking is a bit of a pain; make sure to park on Wilshire or behind the building. And sometimes they're a little slow at lunch, but not slow enough to stop me from going back again!
