Editorial Review for Pacific Theaters at The Grove – by Melanie Abrams
The Scene
After a day amid the hustle and bustle of the Grove's urban shopping village, this art deco-inspired movie palace is a perfect respite. The 14-screen complex pays tribute to the grand theaters of early Los Angeles with a lobby that resembles a four-star hotel and white-gloved ushers outfitted in bellhop attire.
The Draw
This theater has plenty of style, but it doesn't sacrifice the modern amenities moviegoers demand. All theaters feature panoramic, curved screens, cutting-edge sound systems and spacious stadium seating. Lines are usually manageable because of the many ticket-selling kiosks located throughout the mall.
