Attitude!!!!!!. Most expensive!!!!! Snotty Attitude!!!! I have been going to this store for 8 years and they won't take back parts (metal brackets, washers, etc...) because 30 days has passed. I have purchased tens of thousands of dollars worth of material and thats how important I am to a small store. Even the large chains will take back your parts with a receipt. Side note: there was not one customer in the place.....wonder why?

From flagstones to gemstones, enhance your surroundings at this do-it-yourself hardware haven.. The Scene
After more than 50 years in business, this neighborhood hardware store is a Westside institution. The building materials/hardware side of the store is vast with a prodigious array of river rocks, beauty bark and other landscaping materials outside; aisles chock full of tools and home improvement wares inside. What sets Bourget apart, though, is that the hardware doesn't stop at ratchet sets and jig saws. Adjacent is a fairly comprehensive jewelry craft department.

The Goods
The jewelry department is stocked with an impressive selection of jewelers' tools and other supplies--everything from soldering irons and oxidizing compounds that create an antique patina on silver to sterling chain sold by the foot, semi-precious beads, findings, baubles and a decent variety of precious stones. No Hope Diamonds or Titanic Sapphires but a fair spectrum of medium grade opals, rubies, emeralds, zircons, et al. The staff is knowledgeable, and willing to help beginners and pros.
