Best Barber Shop in LA, especially Tom. I've been going to Berkeley Barber for years, and my father introduced me. He used to take me, and now I go on my own. It's the best barber shop in LA, filled with vintage memorabilia of barbershop stuff. Friendly courteous non-attitude staff. I especially like Tom, who has been cutting my hair for years. He's a class act all the way, smart, knows more about film than anyone I've ever met. He gives an amazing haircut, is smart, not intrusive, doesn't overwhelm you with conversation, and follows your emotional pace and need. If you're quiet, he's quiet. He doesn't cross boundaries, and is just a man of integrity. Highly recommended!

A Real Barber Shop!. My Dad went here and now I go here. These guys are great. They won't BS you with chit chat if you're not looking for it. Or they can chat it up like you two went to high school together. The haircuts are always just what I wanted. I have been to Ed, Angel, Bill, and Roger. All class acts!

Great Cuts. This place is amazing! I moved to Santa Monica about a year ago. I was looking for a barber shop that gave excellent hair cuts and excellent service. I then found Berkeley Barbers. The reason I like this place is because they always end with a razor finish, to make your hair cut look nice and clean. They also give a massage at the end of every cut, what more could you ask for? Although, I do only get my haircuts by one person all the time. His name is Angel, I highly recommend this man. (Thurs.-Sat.)
