unhappy customers, pushy staff, sketchy business practices, pushy high prices
Sketchy business practices. We found $100 in emergency money missing from a hiding place in the car. There was no reason for the workers to go there, but they did and the money is gone. Beware.
Helped Confused Girl. Lowest Quote..
I see the other review wrote the opposite of what I'm about to write. I'm sure every place has happy and unhappy customers.
A woman at my work backed into my rear bumper. I have never had this happen and I wasn't sure where to go. My first stop was at Caliber in Santa Monica. The guy quoted me over $600 to fix the spot the lady did. I also asked him how much it would cost to fix a spot on the bumper that I caused. I didn't want her to pay so I was asking for a seperate price. He quoted me about $100 to fix my spot. (The spot was on the bumper too, and was about a foot away from the other damage.)
I also went to Westway. They gave me their quote, which was over $200 less. I also asked them how much extra my second spot would be. The man started laughing and shaking his head. He told me that the second spot would be fixed when the other spot was fixed. There was no way anyone should have charged extra for that second spot. He even took me into the back work area and showed me all the steps of how they fix the bumper. I saw a few ones in progress. He walked through with me what they would do and explained why I was being ripped off by Caliber.
The man worked with me and answered all my questions. He was so nice. They washed and waxed my car. It looked great.
I was kind of lost with what to do, and I'm glad I went there. They didn't make me feel so stupid and I thought it was great how they walked me though everything. I plan on going back for anything else I need.
