Hurt my dog

Instead of calling me, they tried to cover it up, which made matters worse. When I picked him up, I noticed that his eyes were drooping and he was panting. I rushed him to the animal hospital. Had they called and told me right away, I could have come earlier, and my dog would not have suffered so long.

Great Groomer

I brought my dog to the Pet Affaire after many aggrevating and horrible grooming experiences in town. The very first time we were there, weI felt like we had known them for years. They were sweet to our dog and when through her excitment she had an accident in the shop up front, they said that is alright. I asked for something to clean it up and the owner said no I will do it, no problems.

When I went to pick our dog up she looked beautiful. They did what we wanted with our dog and I have been going there every since. The owners are great and friendly. I recommend this shop to dog owners 100 percent. She also smelled good and trust me I have taken my dog places that she smelled worse when she came out. I would recommend Pet Affaire to anyone.

AMAZING Cat groomers too!

All of the reviews have been about dogs, figured I would add my review for you cat people looking for a GREAT place to get your baby groomed!

We have a Persian cat whose undercoat comes in aggressively when the weather starts to get cooler. It is impossible to keep her brushed out. We used to live in Venice and used Pet Affair many times to get her shaved. They always did a wonderful job with minimal nicks to her skin which is a true miracle as close as her knots are to the skin. We moved to S. Pasadena a couple of years ago and have used 2 different groomers on her since. Both times she has come home traumatized, cut up and the last time she limped for just over a week after getting shaved! Through these endeavors we learned an even higher appreciation for the Pet Affair groomers. We have decided that we cannot afford to take our baby anywhere else no matter how inconvenient the location is for us.. Based on the behavior of our cat every time we pick her up from Pet Affair, we are convinced that they are very gentle and sweet with her. We will never take her anywhere else for grooming.
