OVER 470 TEQUILAS & THE BEST DIA DE LOS MUERTAS FIESTA EVER!. They have over 470 tequilas here - we've started trying their Flights of Tequila just so we can try and get through at least half of them. Friendly, fun atmosphere and their Happy Hour is from 1-7 which is great. Incredible authentic Oaxacan food and every year they have an incredible Day of the Dead celebration. They have a facebook site - check it out.

Lifetime Customer. My first visit to Lula's and very impressed with how engaging, noble, and fun the staff is. The manager came by the table several times to make sure that I was satisfied with service and menu selections. The ambiance was very good. Lula's is a wonderful dining establishment; I will be back most defiantly. I have shared this experience with my staff, friends, and relatives. Bon Appétit!

Fantastic Dining in Santa Monica. Felt like Royalty. Lula's made me feel as though it was my home. I felt pampered with each time I've visited. The folks there are wonderful. The menu is amazing, what ever you felt like having, the selection was there with abundance of flavor. Their chef and entree's are FIVE STAR. In short, Lula's Cocina Mexican Restaurant is the epitome of dining

A Dining and Entertainment Experience!. Are you looking for a fun night out with a combined experience in dining, drinking and entertainment pleasure? Lula’s in Santa Monica is the place to spend either a quiet dinner for two or visit with a large group of friends celebrating a special occasion. The food is extremely yummy; don’t forget to try the guacamole! The atmosphere is so warm, inviting as the use of bright colors creates an environment that’s appealing! The Bar is recently remodeled and really a cool place to spend a few hours! Lula’s attracts a hip crowd all of whom appear to me having lots of fun! I saw women celebrating a pre-wedding girls night out party in the back patio! The margaritas will cause you to order a second one and there is also an expansive wine list. I was impressed the minute I walked in. The staff is all friendly, warm and accommodating. We were greeted and seated very quickly! Lula’s is highly recommended. You will not leave disappointed. You will tell others that you had a dining and entertainment experience!

Gourmet Mexican with Unbeatable Margaritas. There is no better Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles than Lula's -- hands down. On a recent night I sampled fare prepared for Valentine's Day -- inventively combined ingredients with whimsical shapes. After you've tasted a Lula's margarita all others will pale by comparison. Then there's the fabulous artwork owner Geraldine Gilliand has curated from modern artists and Mexican artisans. Finally, I love the super cozy new booths that let you lounge in comfort while ordering up a storm.

Take a trip!. Not your mother's Texmex- open your senses to some real food, authentic, adventurous and delicious! The restaurant is beautiful and exotic and I always feel like I've been to Zihuatinejo for dinner! I can hear the surf and smell the flowers! Lula's cheers me up and feeds my senses.

The Best Mexican Food in L.A.. Rafi their Tequila Aficionado knows his way around the 300 Tequilas they have in stock. Authentic regional mexican food and some amazing original art by Eloy Torres (one of my favourite painters). I always meet someone I know here and make friends with at least one new person - fun, friendly, great service - we LOVE Lula's.

Colorful, cozy and YUMMY!!. Colorful and festive decor set the mood, and an interesting arrangement of half-naked female matadors line the walls in the back. Since moving here from Texas, I've had a difficult time finding a Mexican restaurant that I really liked. This one's definitely a contender. We had margaritas (strong), the lulu tostada, and a mole dish. All were excellent. I don't even like mole, but I snagged a bite. So many complex flavors with just a hint of chocolate at the end. Mmmm...chocolate.

Great food and atmosphere if you can deal with slow service. A few friends and I were looking for a fun night out and Lulu's delivered: the music, noise, and enormous drink menu fulfilled our wishes. We had the cheese stuffed jalepenos as an appetizer, then I had the mole tamales and my friends had the goat cheese quesadilla, carne asada, and carne asada burrito. The mole tamales were to awesome: not "burn your tongue off spicy" but they did pack some flavor - much more interesting than a usual tamale. I also really liked the black beans; this sounds bizzare, but they had almost a creamy texture. However, there was a huge downful: the service was horrible: not responsive, brought us the wrong drinks, somewhat testy. If you're with a huge group and that doesn't matter too much, it's not a problem: otherwise don't expect this to be a quick jaunt to a mexican restaurant.

highly addictive..great food, drinks and staff. Ok, so this is my addiction..truly unlike any other!! I started coming here about 4 years ago..and cannot seem to stop! The atmosphere is hip, fun, lively..yet very low key. I think the margaritas are the gorgeous....and each week they have special creations ..gingerita, sangri..etc. And I have just discovered that they are doing monthly tequila tastings..for only about $30 ...with much liquor and tapas style snacks..Patron this month. The food is tasty...and very diverse..with the usual; homemade tamales, enchiladas, baja tacos (my fav)..but with a little kick to the tradition. Oh and the desserts..you had better save room for that espresso brownie! I recommend it for girls night, fun date or even a big group (but make a reservation for that) The staff is fun, friendly and always have my drink and guacamole ready for me when they see me!! Lula is the CHEERS of main st!! Thanks guys..for feeding my LULA addiction!
