In Short – During bustling prime-time hours, busy yet friendly servers deliver trays of fresh seafood to families, tourists and members of the local workforce. Appetizers include calamari or Cajun shrimp served with spicy tartar and thick cocktail sauce. Beyond its signature lobster special, the kitchen churns out fish entrees prepared with butter and herbs, or grilled over a hot-burning mesquite wood charcoal. There is also an oyster bar, which usually draws a crowd just after work lets out during the week.

Parking:
Directly north of the restaurant, there's a large public lot with entrances on Hill, Ashland and Kinney. The meters there run up to three hours at 75-cents an hour.

Great Happy Hours - even on weekends!

Bland, tough Mahi Mahi

Went here last Wednesday, June 16th. It was about 2:45pm and we wanted to sit on the patio but were told that there would not be service until 3pm. Since we were starving, we sat inside. Service was fine (only one food server but restaurant was fairly empty), but my entree - Mahi Mahi w/ grilled veggies - was overcooked. The zucchini was mushy and the eggplant even mushier. My friend's salmon was okay - the Coca-Cola BBQ sauce on top of it was tasty. He ordered steamed broccoli and it was just that - no seasoning whatsoever. Will probably never go back.

Great Happy Hour

This is a great place to go to for happy hour. Apps are great & fairly priced. The Lobster Bisque is to die for! The bartenders are gracious with the booze for happy hour drinks! Good Atmosphere

Not the best of experiences

We made a reservation for a Saturday night and told them we planned to use a Dine Out L.A. coupon. The person who took the reservation didn't tell us the Dine Out deal was not valid on Saturdays.

Additionally, we specifically told them we did not want to be on the patio. So where did we wind up? On the patio of course.

The wait staff was slow but friendly, even fun. But the food just wasn't good enough for us to put up with all of the rest. Typical corporate restaurant chain quality. Some of it seemed imaginative, but the taste just didn't deliver.

They managed to disappoint 12 people that night. None of us will ever go back.

Love the Happy Hour...it's seriously one of the best in town - deals on appetizers & drinks.

Also love the combination seafood dishes - I usually get the dover sole.
