Bad as Always

The service isn't just slow, it's terrible. At best, cordial, IF they'll show you any attention. At worst, (and usually the case) downright rude, patronizing, even argumentative.

No doubt, the only reason it's still in business is its location. The food is hardly good enough to make up for the "who cares - so what - deal with it" attitude towards customers. Their arrogant energy ruins any enjoyment of this place being across from the airport and dog park. We've tried it a few time over the years, hoping something improved, but it's gotten worse. The bad management and service continues to leave us with awkward regrettable indigestion. Yuck.

Nice place to eat lunch

Don't let the bad reviews about service sway you. I've eaten lunch there many times, and while the service can be slow, it's still attentive and friendly. Bottom line is, it's a great place to eat lunch outside on a nice day. They have a wide selection of interesting sandwiches and burgers, but I always opt for the turkey burger, which I think is awesome. Sweet potato fries are great too. To the people I who had such "horrible" service, I say, "Relax man, just enjoy your tasty burger, take in the sunshine, and be happy you're alive."

Skip this and be happy

Horribly unacceptable customer service, expensive, and low quality food. This eatery is best avoided. I should have left after I saw the owner talking to another customer - very rude and made me wonder, "why would I want to support this?" There are great places all around Santa Monica - this is clearly not one of them. Take my advice and make a better choice.
