In Short – Named after a mythological Celtic warrior, this pub gets an extra shot of authenticity from the enormous wood bar that was shipped over from Ireland. Stocked with a respectable selection of Scottish malts and Irish whiskeys, the impressive structure stands amid Guinness ads and intricate, Celtic-themed murals. Tall, wooden partitions allow privacy while sitting at the bar. Service can be dodgy during peak dinner hours, when ordering a pint requires the patience of a saint. – –

Best Irish Pub in L.A. Happy Hour from 1-7pm !!!

Their food is fantastic and reminds me of being back home in Dublin. I can't believe they have such an enormous collection of whiskey (my weakness). Great performers every week - and with a Happy Hour from 1-7pm you can't go wrong. Waiters were really friendly and actually Irish.

Awesome Vegetarian Menu

Just ate at Finn's yesterday and sampled some of the vegetarian menu, flat bread with pesto and some awesome dumplings. Just great. Not like some typical restaurants bland version of veggie cuisine.... this was first rate. I'll be back soon....

Worst service of my life - don't waste your time

I visited Finn McCool's on Main Street and experienced the worst service of my life. The waitress was slow, stuck up and the bar was obviously understaffed.
I, along with other patrons, waited 20 minutes for each drink and at least 30 minutes for my check. In my opinion, since tipping is not a requirement in the United States, the service deserved nothing. I come to look at my bank statement to find that the arrogant jerks charged me a $7 tip.
Not only will I never attend this establishment again, but I recommend you not wasting your time here. I live in Santa Monica and there are FAR too many spots to waste your time here...

Go Monday through Friday 1pm to 7pm and get discounted domestic bottles, draft and well drinks along with a selection of food specials.
On the Menu:
Bar bites, including potato skins and calamari, are less greasy than usual pub grub, and what's lacking in quantity is made up for in presentation.
