The Scene – Situated at the northern end of Main Street in Santa Monica, across the street from a community garden lot, this one-story space is (not surprisingly, considering its beachy neighborhood) suffused with a relaxed vibe. The folks tending to the art are friendly, informative and not overly intrusive, allowing passers-by as well as connoisseurs to appreciate the work on display. – – The Goods – Angles represents a dozen artists, from California and beyond, who produce work that is more thought-provoking than decorative.
