The WORST car wash EVER

I went to Bonus Car Wash and asked for the $16.99 "Complete" car wash. After a barrage of annoying attempts to upsell me to a wax, Vence explained that they would be washing it on the side because my car is a low sportscar. I agreed, he turned around to write the receipt at his podium, and then turned and handed it to me. I accepted it and put it directly in my pocket, sat down, and completed my work paperwork. When my car was done I went to pay, and they asked for $25. I explained that I requested the $16.99 Complete Wash. That's when the ghetto Car Wash crew ganged up. I explained I will pay $16.99, as I wasn't told the price was higher, Vence, the cashier chick, and the manager yelled and threatened that I wasn't leaving there without paying $25. I'm a professional in a suit with a sports car, and they're telling me I'm there to rip them off! They're all yelling at me, and refusing to tell me the name or number of the owner. And after 10 minutes of them blaming me for all of this, because I didn't catch the problem before they washed it, the manager tells me to get out and never come back, and they don't want ANY of my money! I leave and try to hand the drying guy $4 but the manager runs across and PUSHES him away from me and won't allow the tip! So I drop it on the floor, and as I'm getting in the car, he picks it up and throws in my car, cussing me out!

I'm a firm believer in business with principles. This isn't the kind of business I will support. Please be careful if you choose to go there.

SKIP IT LADIES

Ladies - SKIP THIS PLACE. Today, after watching the tall goof ball that writes up the tickets spend 10 min. coerciing a tourist from BC to an upsale, he comes over to my car. He tells me I'm goionmg to need the "VIP wash" because he's "not sure my Miata will fit in the wash rails (too low)." I explain I've been there before but his attitude was so rude and condescending you would have thought he was a matre d' at a 4 star restaurant, He gets extremely annoyed that I only want the basic wash and tells me I have attitude and tells the vacuum vatos to stop working on my car and slams my passenger door. I give him a few choice words goodbye. This guy hates women he can't upsell and appears to need to overcompensate for some shortcomings. Hope he goes down in flames soon for the workers sake.

Avoid this place

Over the last 20-odd years this dump has declined from a somewhat professional operation to the worst rip-off in town. The staff is intent on upselling their more expensive detailing packages and, once you resist their hard sell tactics, they provide a very perfunctory standard wash. In my case today, they let the water dry on the hood of my black car while they were busy joking with each other... the water marks on the car made it look worse than before the wash. The manager's answer was a dismissive "you don't understand", as if that is what you get for a $12 wash... Well, I do understand--I understand not to return to this place again. Millennium does a much better job a mile or so south on Lincoln. Of this place and their surly staff I can only say: STAY WAY for your (and your car's) own good...

extremely poor performance

always aggressive gentleman tries to upsell you when you arrive. definately not run professionally nor are the washes detailed oriented. basically a rip off carwash....15 bucks for a half done job with an attitude from the sales guy and manager....the owner is a flashy middle aged guy who, i thought, cared about his customers but he seems content to run a progressively worse wash just making money ripping off unsuspecting people in the neighboorhood. they said the owner is down in orange county when i asked for him which may explain why the place is run in a sub par manner.

Total rip off!

I had my car "detailed" here and regretted it BIG TIME. HUGE RIP OFF! Totally shoddy work. "Complete interior shampoo" was really just my front seats and the carpets, all of which remained wet for 3 days. They didn't even touch the headliner or door panels. They also greased up the inside with who knows what, so I ended up spending 45 minutes wiping the slick gunk off the steering wheel, arm rests, and dashboard with a towel. They didn't even clean the inside back window! I've gotten a regular car wash here as well (shame on me) and they've done a horrible job with that, too. Drive down to Millenium--they do a much better job!
