Convenient Mexican food. If you're downtown and you're hungry and you don't want to spend a bunch of money, this place is great.

Their chips are good, the salsas are fresh and they're redecorating so the atmosphere is being worked on.

I either get the veggie taco lunch special a whopping 5.99, or the baby greens salad with zucchini and corn- mmm mmm.

It always hits the spot.

salsa it to die for!!!. Their salsa is just absolutely great, to die for. Their fish is fresh and cooked just right, I love all their fish dishes, especially fish served with beans and rice. Even their beans and rice is just cooked right. I think someone put their chips and salsa are free. Well that is true sometimes, perhaps when they aren't busy. But they will charge you for chips and salsa sometimes. Just ask if its okay to have it for free and sometimes they will allow it. Otherwise, I don't mind paying for it, definitely worth it.

The best argument against kosher. Extremely casual, walk up to the counter and order. Casual not to be confused with gruff; practically everyone you deal with is friendly. Free chips and salsa are a plus, refills are allowed/tolerated. Basically, all of the little things are there. Of course, that would be nothing without good food. And boy howdy, is the food at Senor Fish ever good. The fish tacos are splendid, the burritos sublime, but the piece de resistance is the seafood quesadilla. Positively packed with all sorts of seafood (I'm not even sure of what half the stuff is), this dish approaches perfection. Food utopia, and one of the best low-culture dining experiences anywhere.

Best (if not only) scallop and shrimp burrito on the planet!. I've been a few times each to both the downtown and eagle rock locations of Senor Fish, and both are equally yummy. If you order your seafood grilled instead of fried, it manages to be a lunch feast of Mexican food that won't leave you slumped over your desk at for the rest of the day. I love the daily special of three fish tacos, and the scallop or scallop and shrimp burrito is to die for. Order it grilled (worth the extra dollar). It's chock full of seafood and your scallops will be unexpectedly tender and well cooked--never overdone or rubbery. Most plates come with a tiny, almost amuse bouch-like sized serving of fish ceviche, which is also so delicious that I keep promising to order a large order of it next time.

The Baja Mexican seafood menu boasts traditional favorites and specialty fish tacos.. In Short
The Little Tokyo location--with tropical-fish art and glass-topped tables strewn with alternative newsweeklies--may not scream "beachy cantina," but it's a genuine taste of Baja. Downtown workers, loft dwellers and MOCA employees keep it packed. The scaly and mustachioed mascot encourages customers to order seafood. The burrito de camarones swaddles flash-fried shrimp, rice, pinto beans, cabbage, pico de gallo and mayo in a flour tortilla. Other options include the seviche tostada and the papas taco.

Hmmm...Delish. Senor Fish has yummy vegetarian enchiladas. It gets kinda busy at lunch time since it's surrounded by businesses. The little patio out back is cute but it seems to be on an incline, so don't lean back when you're eating!
