Decent Selection. These last few days, I have been trying to find a good vietnamese restaurant with an extensive selection. Meaning I want something more than just Pho. I tried this restaurant today. It is located opposite of Pho 97 in Chinatown. The name is no longer Viet Huong but Thien Huong Restaurant just so you know. The reason why I went here instead of Pho 97 because they have this noodle broth called Bun Bo Hue. In general the menu is more extensive than Pho 97. The Bun Bo Hue was good but did not have enough noodles. I also have the Goi Cuon (Spring rolls with pork, shrimps, and vegetable). The rolls were fine but their sauce was horrible. I would come again and try the other stuff on the menu but not the spring rolls. It doesn't hurt that everything is really cheap and with an "A" rating.
Real Vietnamese!. Had a health letter of A so we tried it. Surprised by the excellent egg rolls (cha gio) and the authentic pho and rice dish. Friendly service (which is rare for a Vietnamese restaurant). But restaurant itself is a bit of a hole in the wall. It's not the place for a romantic meal. But food was good & cheap and that's all that matters.
