No More Dubunne. I used to like this spa, but no more. The last few visits have been exasperating to me. Despite the upgrades in decor and the new soaking tubs, it is just not a relaxing place. There is always some kind of drama going on there. It seems the employees do not get along with each other or like their jobs very much as there is a constant buzz of gossip and backbiting going on at the front desk or behind the scenes.

My last visit, a few weeks ago, was particularly unpleasant. An older woman escorted me to the dressing rooms and drew a hydro bath for me and she was nasty to me and other guests. Later when I sat outside, trying to relax and listen to the waterfall, this attendant proceeded to have a very loud ghetto type of conversation with another attendant. They were saying rude things about the guests, calling one of them "gross" and calling their coworkers "bitches". They knew I could hear them and that did not deter them one bit, in fact they passed by me several times and scowled at me as if I were doing something wrong. I felt very uncomfortable. I moved several times and tried to relax in other areas of the spa, but no matter where I went, I could hear the older woman complaining and ranting, so I packed it up and left. On the way out, I was going to mention my bad experience to someone at the front desk, but when I arrived up front the two ladies there were also "bitching" about guests and coworkers, so I thought better of it. Hence, no more Dubunne for me.

DuBunne Rocks!. I've been going to DuBunne since they were a Hair Salon. They are the best spa in the southbay. There customer service is terrific, plus all there therapists give top notch treatments. I would highly reccomend this spa to anyone!! Rock on DuBunne!

The spot for couples!. So, let me start off by saying that my husband was completely opposed to the idea of a couples treatment at the spa. He definitely went kicking and screaming. Thank God for the girls at DuBunne. The girls at the front, Jamie in particular, was amazing, and immediately made him feel comfortable. Debbie, an attendant, set him up with his robe and slippers and a cold Corona! (Apparently they know the way to a man's heart!) I enjoyed a Hibiscus. (For those of you who don't know, it's champagne with cranberry juice.) Need I say more? We had our massages on an outside couples room. It was like our own tropical get away. Our massages were fan-freakin'-tastic. Monica and Becky are heaven sent. If you are getting massages, request them, I promise you will leave a new person. After our massages, Debbie took us to relax in a couples relaxation room. She refilled our drinks and waited on us hand and foot. Everyone there was amazing! Unfortunately we had to leave and return to reality. Did I mention that we when we left my husband booked our next couples massage?

Greatest Spa Ever. My boyfriend purchased a gift certificate for me to DuBunne. Let me start off by saying THIS IS THE GREATEST PLACE EVER!!!!!! Contrary to the other review, I found there customer service to be outstanding! When I called to book my appointment I spoke Cara, she was so helpful and took her time explaining the different treatments to me. When I arrived Nicole was at the front and could tell I was a little nervous because it was my first time having a massage. She was so friendly and made me feel comfortable immediately. She showed me to my personal locker and schedule time for me to sit in the sauna before to help me relax. Away I went for my massage, Danielle hands are marvelous!!! Everyone of the staff members were so friendly, always asking if I needed anything. The attention to detail the spa gives truly makes it a remarkable place. When I was checking out I was able to meet Cara and there was another gal Lynn. They told me my gift certificate took care of everything and that was it. There was no pressure to purcahse products or even to tip the therapist(which I did, she deserved it). I truly had a wonderful experience and will be back soon. Next time, I'll join the club!!

Horrible Customer Service. Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love DuBunne's skincare products and have been using them exclusively for the past 4 years. However, I have had several negative experiences with the staff there. I used to order products online but on more than one occasion they'd arrive with half of the bottle leaked out or broken. When I'd call to get a replacement product they would only agree to replace it if I paid for return shipping so in the end I'd end up paying even more for my order. On one occasion I'd ordered a product and when it hadn't arrived in over 2 weeks I ordered more. Eventually after 3 weeks I called and was finally told that they had been out of product but would ship both my orders together. When I asked for a refund for shipping on one of the orders since they were going to ship them together I was told I couldn't be refunded. So in essence I was double billed for shipping on an order that was over 3 weeks late! That was when I decided to stop ordering online and go into the store. That worked out fine for a while, despite the fact that someone tried to up-sell me every time I went in. But the last straw came a few weeks ago when I was charged double the price for a product in error. Luckily I noticed it before I drove away and went back into the store to request a refund. The cashier looked annoyed that she had to issue a refund and didn't apologize for the error at all. She just dismissed it saying that the barcode must have been wrong. When I suggested that she check the other bottles of that product to make sure that other barcodes weren't wrong so other customers weren't overcharged she just rolled her eyes. That's when I decided I'd never shop there again. It's a shame because their products are of excellent quality but customer service is just abysmal!

I FEEL GOD!. I enjoyed all of the services that I received that day. It was a special day for my mom & I. I treated here & my honey treated me. The price was unbelievable for all three services. I was very content. The staff is amazing!

I will be back very soon.

Excellent South Bay Day Spa. I have been a client here for over 10 years . A very professional staff awaits you at this is a top notch day spa. From the time you enter, until you leave you are pampered like a Queen by all staff members, not just your aesthtician . Dubunne's patio is a great place to relax even on a cooler day! I have very senstive fair skin and recently tried the Hydra Facial. Its is defintately one of their better facials for sensitive skin. It is very gentle and produced dramatic results after the very first treatement. It reduced my under eye puffiness and made my skin feel so hydrated and smooth and fine lines were almost non visable. I rate this treatement 5 stars! Enjoy!

The best Spa in the South Bay!. I LOVE DuBunne!! They have the best treatments and the nicest therapists! There is no snobby attitudes, unlike other spas in the South Bay. The Ultimate Facial is the BEST!! A wonderful head to toe treatment!!

Very Friendly Spa..Great for Men!!. My wife gave me a gift certificate to DuBunne and I was quite hesitant at first. I have never been to a spa before and have always thought it to be just for women.I have a very stressful job and she wanted me to relax. Much to my surprise I felt comfortable immediately after entering the spa. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. I arrived quite some time after my appointment was scheduled to start, the staff was very attentive to my needs and were accomodating to my tardiness. I was able to have my full treatment and it was a great massage I was also pleased to see that they have taken "extra" steps to make male clients feel comfortable. They have a male only waiting room with lazy boy chairs and a big screen TV with live sports. This truly was a relaxing experience and I will be back to DuBunne.

Always An Amazing Experience...... I have come to DuBunne many times and everytime is just as wonderful as the first. I have also been to different spa's in the Southbay and around the World, none of them compare to the warmness DuBunne brings. The services are wonderful but the level of customer service this spa provides is extraordinary!! Those girls really enjoy what their jobs, it show's in the energy they express..you just can't fake that. If you've never been to DuBunne, believe me its worth every penny. If you've been to DuBunne and maybe not had quite the wonderful experience, you should give it another try. Everybody is due a off day, however, I'm not sure that happens at DuBunne!! Thanks girls for always making my experience so wonderful..You ladies truly have a gift .
