What People Are Saying About Del Amo Fashion Ctr

In Short – A trip to the Del Amo mall almost becomes a family vacation in itself, as evidenced by the hordes of moms, dads and impatient kids--including vacationers--traversing its two floors, sometimes looking very lost. Its three million square feet of space devoted to consumerism translates into over 300 shops. TJ Maxx, Macy's and Sears are the anchors of this great boat, with your average mall shops (Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, Payless Shoes, Aeropostale, Wet Seal) filling in the gaps.

Editor's Tips

The Extras:
The outdoor promenade is open Saturdays, 10am-10pm, Sundays 11am-8pm.
On the Menu:
The food court is worth a stop if you're into mall food, and given the amount of shopping you'll do, you might just work up an appetite for it anyway.

As a woman, I need lots of accessories, jewelries, new clothes and shoes, and oh, just about everything else--ever so often. Del Amo Fashion Ctr is near my place and my one stop everytime I need anything. Diverse choices, different stuff--hey, it's a woman's heaven.

The Big Winner!

Although navigating this behemoth mall is as confusing as the day is long, I actually enjoyed getting lost in here and lazily strolling about the shops. I like this mall more than the Beverly Center because it isn't as intimidating and there appear to be ACTUAL PEOPLE in it. Bonus: there's a Chick fil A in the food court, and I LOOOOOOOOOVE Chick fil A.

thank goodness they're finally remodeling

With malls like the Beverly Center, who needs Del Amo. Sure its huge, but who really needs 10 Foot Lockers? That's the concept of this mall: we're big and have tons of stores, but each individual store has limited selection and sales. And to top it off, the mall is ugly and depressing and the food "court" is digusting.

Their Macy's has decent selection and sales. The cosmetics and jewelry section needs work. All the department stores here (and everywhere in the world pretty much) use to have really sweet people to help you and you'd see them working there everytime you went to shop. Now, there's always new people working at Del Amo and they know nothing.

  • Pros: lots of foot lockers, Christmas-time with the toy trains and Santa display
  • Cons: tons of same-ol-same-ol generic stores, poor service, parking
