Coming back to an old favorite... Last time my family and I attended a dinner at Olive Garden..O.G. as we call it..the food quality semed to be straying from our rememberance of the Pasta Fagioli..i.g..the heat seemed replaced by the tang of sage..however..mid-week..celebration of my birthday..I paid more than the usual attention to details and I feel that had the O.G. ventured away from the pure faith..I would have noticed it. The Pasta Fagioli was as I remember it and the rest of our dinner was likewise..
Breadsticks. Just thinking about the breadsticks here makes me super hungry...All you can eat = heaven.
Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant..
In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.
Great Place. This place was packed at 4 on Saturday. We had to wait 20 mins to get in. The baked ziti was AWESOME and of course the salad and breadsticks! The restaurant is fairly big so don't underestimate it's power to attract lots of customers. We were surprised we had to wait at such an odd time to eat on saturday! Have a great time!
