like purvian food, great place, really good lunch special, good potatoes, very tasty chix soup, extremely friendly waiters, favorite chicken soup

The original Peruvian restaurant that serves the best of peruvian foods! Their cilantro soup is amazing too!
Nice place for lunch special. Good price for lunch specials, but do not like fries.
Great food... a little greasy... This is a great place to eat, good lunch specials. The only thing I suggest is to ask for lite oil.
Hit mini-chain menu includes namesake rotisserie chicken and Peruvian dishes..
In Short
Totems of Peruvian history create the atmosphere: Plaster-cast walls mimic stone temples and carved gods, while art, textiles and photos festoon the remainder of the room. The cuisine is as lively as the decor and is anchored by the house special spiced rotisserie chicken. Fish and meat dishes are also offered--fish stew, Peruvian shrimp fried rice, or steak with fried egg and plantains. Saltado--sauteed tomatoes, onions and french fries--is available with beef, shrimp, mixed seafood or vegetarian-style.
quality has gone WAY down.
this place use to be very good but lately, i wouldnt dare take a friend here to eat. ok, they do chicken right, ill give them that. and what they put in their rice, im not sure, but its good (get the rice instead of the fries bc the fries are soggy and are not very good). i got Aji de Gallina (shredded chicken in walnut sauce) recently and the sauce was obviously watered down. i told them that i had been going there since it use to be Eat at Ed's, and its never looked like that and they said sorry too bad. And every time I go now, the papa a la huancaína gets more and more expensive--its just a potato with spicy cheese sauce (really good to dip the chicken in).
they have a really good lunch special (get the chix soup--very tasty, seasoned with lime), very cheap.
they need to get over themselves and start improving the quality bc its not where it use to be.
The best non-authentic Peruvian food. Its not authentic peruvian (told to me by a native), but I love it! great lunch specials and don't forget to try the picante de pollo (which is unique to the torrance branch.. the other ones dont have it). I go there at least once a week , extremely friendly waiters and quick service at times.. The aji sauce (green stuff) is just amazing.
