Unprofessional and Rude Customer Service. I needed to find a florist who could deliver flowers to my mother for her birthday on a Sunday, and I found Ginza Florist. I called and spoke with Kim, who stated that she could deliver the flowers the next day, on Sunday morning. I gave her the address and said I would call back with to let her know the arrangement I wanted to order. I should have known at this time that there was a problem, because I had to repeat and spell everything out for her. About an hour later, I called back and spoke with Kim. I told her the arrangement I wanted. I gave her my credit card number, multiple times and then we hung up. When I got out of work at 7:30 p.m. I had 2 messages from her stating that my credit card was declined. I tried calling her back and left a couple of messages with no response. So I called my credit card company who stated that the purchase has been approved earlier in the day. She didn't even have the courtesy to call me back to let me know. So here I am assuming that the credit card was approved, so the flowers should be delivered. Well that was a mistake. I had to work the next day, I called the florist several times, but this time there was no answering machine. I finally called my mother in the early afternoon to see if she received her flowers, and she hadn't. I was frustrated with the whole thing because I was charged for flowers that were never delivered. So first thing Monday morning I arrived at Ginza Florist, at 0930 a.m. I wasn't upset, all I wanted was an explanation as to why I was charged for flowers that weren't delivered. I was told by a man behind the counter that Kim was not in. He then got on the phone, holding a long conversation in Korean and then told me that she would be in in 10 minutes. I waited...and then approximately 20 minutes later Kim arrived. She appeared upset and was very rude. The first thing she said was "Why didn't you call me back?" I informed her that I had and she continued being rude. She made the entire thing sound like my fault. I told her that I worked in a hospital and she made a smart remark stating, "Well I've worked in a hospital." I'm assuming that she thinks that I should have had time to check my messages. She then continued to be rude and very unprofessional, until I stopped her. She then turned to the man behind the counter and they began talking in Korean. They advertise that they speak English, but I don't even thing they speak English as their second language. She then handed me a refund receipt and I left. This place is a small hole in the wall business, probably because of their poor customer service, they don't get a lot of business. I work in a hospital in the surrounding area and will make sure no one uses their florist. They are VERY rude, unprofessional and lack the qualities it takes to run a successful business. I will NEVER use them again.
