The first Round Table Pizza opened in Menlo Park, Calif. in 1959. Today, the chain boasts more than 500 restaurants internationally and is recognized for its made-from-scratch dough, mozzarella, provolone and cheddar blend and gourmet toppings like fire-roasted Roma tomatoes, creamy garlic sauce and salami. Pizzas are available in pan and "skinny" (aka, super-thin) varieties. The menu also offers up turkey, ham and chicken club sandwiches, bread sticks and salads.

Let's hear it for old-fasioned pizza places with in-restaurant seating and little arcade games. This location can get busy with screaming children running around and high school students, but the pizza doesn't lie-- it is great. The breadsticks are even better. It is pricey pizza, but the taste is worth it. The staff is always pleasant, even though the working environment is so hectic.

I love the pizzas from Round Table Pizza. The pizzas are always fresh and made well with plenty of cheese and toppings. They also have salads, garlic bread, buffalo wings, and other great appetizers. You can dine in or take out and I believe some locations even deliver to your home.
