This place has a very layed back warm and inviting atmosphere where the service is superb, the food is especially delicious, I love their lasagna which is huge, sandwiches are great and cheesy.
- Pros: plenty of parking and good food
- Cons: at times it does get a bit crowded but well worth the wait.

great family restaurant

Salvatore's is one of the best family owned restaurants in Montebello. Not only are the people polite, but the food is actually pretty good. It does tend to get crowded in the evenings, but is usually empty during the day. If you're looking for a good meal in a cozy restaurant you should definitely consider dining here.

Ragu from a CAN? Maybe...

The food is not good, too much oregano! The esspresso coffee is awful. Nevertheless, when you feel like going to a stereotypical Italian restaurant- This is it! The chicken is dry, the shirmp over cooked and the pasta sticky. Maybe next time I'm invited to a banquet I'll play it safe and order a pizza, instead of the entree.

- Cons: The sauce
