The Scene
Built in the early 1920s in the Arts & Crafts style, this 8,000-square-foot, all-suite inn sits on five-acres of award-winning gardens. Walkways meander throughout the property, and a private trail leads into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Now owned by Proclamation Ministries, this is a quiet, spiritual retreat.
The Details
The suites are richly but comfortably furnished with antiques; they also come with telephones, and wireless Internet is available. Whirlpool tubs for two (stocked with fragrant Thymes bath products) and fireplaces can be found in most accommodations. While the overall ambiance is already romantic, honeymooners enjoy a little something extra: complimentary Champagne. Gourmet breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, or for great views of Pike's Peak, take it out to the courtyard. Wine and appetizers are served on weekends, and cold beverages and homemade snacks are offered 24-hours.

Everything was Beautiful, it was perfect until we met the Inn Keepers. We made dinner plans there and noticed we were being charged an adtl 20%..they told us to make reservations to eat somewhere else if it is going to be such a problem. The following morning we attended breakfast at 8:30 am and was rudely told that we need to attend at 8:15 am. We showed up at 8:15 the next day, they then told us breakfast is served at 8:30. OK. We were told to check out by noon. We received a call at 10:45 telling us that our check out is now 11 am because they had to be somewhere. Are you kidding me?? I was very sad that we chose RockLedge. Even with all the beauty and peace these inn keepers ruined our stay. We left feeling terrible.
