CATALINA WORST DIVE EXPERIENCE. DANGEROUS!! DO NOT DIVE WITH SCUBA LUV!! Our dive was perilous. Resurfaced 500 yards from boat, they didn't come to get us so we started swimming, in choppy water, against current, running out of air. We were in serious danger when they finally threw out a line to another diver (closer to boat than us, they never saw us or knew we were missing) - after swimming for one hour we reached the line. We were too exhausted for 2nd dive. The dive master should keep an eye out for all divers!!!!!!! Worst dive experience in my 20 years of diving!!!!
Catalina Tours Worst Place. Please people be careful, everyone that works here are no good and very rude. They just want your money and don't care about anything else, go some place else for tours
Highly Reccommend Scuba Luv. After visiting two other Scuba shops in Avalon, we chose this one. The woman working behind the counter when we first walked in was by far friendlier and more helpful and got us scheduled for a beginning dive right away. Our instructor, Bryan, was also great. Although I was scared and about ready to give up at first, he was very patient and walked me through all the steps. In the end, I had a great time and can't wait to go back. I will definitely go back to Scuba Luv, and would recommend them to others looking for intro scuba. The price is about the same as the other shops, but we got more time with the instructor and the people working there were great.

I received the absolute worst customer service by the MANAGER no less. Their website quoted 95 dollars a dive, when I called to reserve a dive I was told 115. When I asked about this I was hung up on. I called back, thinking it was an accident, and was then told "I don't want to argue with you, have a nice day" and hung up. The thing was, I wasn't arguing, I was trying to ask when the prices went up since I had called to ask general question a few days before. When I called again I was angry, asked the man (who I only then found out was the owner/manager) why I was being treated this way, to which his reply was "I thought you were playing games." I told him that I wanted to dive with them but that I wanted to be compensated for this outrageous treatment and he said "here's your compensation" and hung up a third time.
