Adoid any night - Bedding, Noise, lack of concern and safety

This hotel is not recommended. I observed two safety issues possible code violations. The room smoke detector was missing the cover and the battery was disconnected. The power outlet behind the bed was broken and with the cover removed.
The bedding was below par, in-fact you may find better bedding at a skid row hotel, thread bear, the sheets did not fit and would not stay on the bed. The room hotel and room appeared to be very poorly maintained. Marketed as the second oldest hotel in Ca, It maybe time to upgrade the sheets and bedding. Noise was bad with banging of doors through both nights.The attitude of the staff was no better, they did not care
