The Scene
Folks who want to know what it feels like to actually live on the enchanted isle of Catalina need look no further than this Spanish-style inn. Perched on a residential hillside above Catalina Harbor, just one block from the beach and right across the street from the island's oldest church, its 22 classically appointed guest rooms afford views of funky hillside neighborhoods, unspoiled canyons and boats moored in the harbor below.
The Details
Beneath the red adobe tiled roofs, each of the sun-filled guest rooms---including the luxury penthouse with a full kitchen---feature its own balcony, and guests are also welcome to make use of the pleasant patio area.
