Over Priced, Over Rated

First time visit. Went there on a recommendation. We went there as part of a surprise dinner party of 30+ individuals. Trying to make the reservations was a mission, since each time I called I had to leave a voicemail and wait for a return call & more times than not the return call took a day or two or none at all. Furthermore, I spoke to two different individuals, both which gave me different information regarding the reservation requirements. Tina, is the first individual I spoke to, she was very friendly & she stated we could make reservations for a private party, no fee, 16% gratuity, order from the dinner menu, bring our own cake and even decorate the room. About a week after speaking with Tina, I spoke with Jessica, she stated we would not have a private room, had to pay $200 deposit, had to order from a banquet menu, could not decorate, except for the table, had to pay 20% gratuity, & that we would have to share the dining room.
The service from the waitress herself was very friendly, however, we were asked to move twice, mainly because our party did not all arrive on time; therefore, we were told the extra table that was reserved for us had to be surrendered to be used for another party. Once our entire party arrived, we did not have enough seating so we had to accommodate ourselves by adding extra side tables, although I personally informed the waitress we needed extra seating space. Once all 30+ people arrived, no waitress arrived. I, myself had to go seek out a waitress and inform them we were ready to place our order. It was 1 waitress taking the order of our large party; as a result, taking the order took a very long time.
Once the food arrived, it left a lot to be desired. I ordered a lemonade & the Grilled Salmon, and although the salmon itself was okay, the mashed potato and spinach were cold and all of it was bland. The lemonade was bitter and tasted extremely watered down.
My son ordered the Shrimp Scampi and he was not satisfied either, as he stated his dish tasted like rubbery shrimp in a sea of flavorless butter. My daughter ordered the lobster bisque and a pasta dish, which she stated the lobster bisque was not good at all and the noodles in the pasta dish were hard. The majority of the other guests I spoke to also were dissatisfied with their dishes and/or the service.
When it came time to cut the cake, we were informed there was a $1 cutting fee/per person, information that was not given to me when the reservations were first made even though I inquired about personally taking a cake to the restaurant. Once we were done with our food and cake, the waitress never came back. I had to once again go and personally seek her out in order for us to get our check.
Overall, the aesthetic look of this establishment is very nice, clean, and has a great view of the marina. However, for the quantity and quality of the food and service I sincerely believe that this place leaves a lot to be desired and is overpriced and over rated. By the way, that third table we were asked to give up for that other party, was never used.
I personally would not return to this establishment.
