In Short
Often described as California's first fast-food chain, Fosters Freeze has been a Golden State tradition since 1946. That was when George Foster opened his first eponymous eatery on La Brea Avenue in Inglewood and introduced the soft serve cone. The sweet, swirly concoction became so popular that he opened a chain of restaurants. Since then, the menu has grown to include other soft serve treats--parfaits, banana splits and Twisters--as well as made-to-order hamburgers, fries, chicken sandwiches and fish filet.
Chocolate dipped Ice cream. The best anywhere. I love this treat, its so fun to eat and always a mystery how the ice cream leaks out if the chocolate shell lol. They have burgers, fries, etc all american stuff. pretty darn good onion rings. This was the coolest spot to be after school.
