Why is this place still open?. The only reason this place stays open is because there is no where else to eat breakfast in downtown Long Beach.

The food is bland and boring. Worst omelette I have ever had. Thin, dry eggs stuffed with a lot of filler potatos and dried chicken.

Oh and the service? After they spilled a whole glass of cold water on the table, all they did was throw me some napkins. No appology, no manager, no nothing.

Parking also is bad, street only they dont validate for any of the nearby parking lots so factor in extra cash for the cheap breakfast.

With over a dozen good breakfast places in Long Beach, do yourself a favor, head a few blocks south to Belmont Shore or stick to the Hotels.

Arguably the most popular breakfast spot in downtown Long Beach, this nautically-themed joint that looks like your grandpa decorated it is where locals gladly stand outside and wait (and wait) for tasty affordable eats. Breakfast options range from soyrizo chilaquiles (there is no real chorizo served here, so no need to worry if that's actual pork on your plate) to a dozen different omelets, while lunch includes daily homemade soup, chili, hamburgers and sandwiches.

The best of breakfast!!. The best damn breakfast nook in Long Beach. Surpasses all the others.

Go before 9:30 and get the early bird special.

Busiest times is 10:30 to 12:30. If you go then expect to wait.

Highly reccommend!!!

Best breakfast in LB. Delicious! Love the omelettes, LOVE the fruit bowl. (No lame filler fruit, just the good stuff.) Friendly service, cheap, healthy if you want it to be, & good for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. What more could you ask for?

Great Food, Great Price!. The Omelette Inn is a fabulous restaurant in downtown Long Beach where you can sip on a cup of hot brew while you wait to be seated. On weekends, enjoy the special with a cup of flavored coffee. The Omelette Inn is well worth the wait!
