Just blocks from the beach, this frilly tea room--dressed in deep burgundy walls splashed with floral wallpaper and gold-framed oil paintings--unabashedly embraces its femine side. Mismatched antique chairs topped with plush pillows share space with elegantly draped tables and crystal chandeliers. In keeping with the cutesy atmosphere, upon entering guests are invited to choose a vintage hat and fine bone china cup from the store's collection. Cuisine is prepared from the Tea Mistress's family recipes and consists of traditional favorites like scones with Devonshire cream, finger sandwiches, gourmet soups and daily desserts.
