The Service is Horrible.. I wish I could give them a zero. This place is just awful. They left us at the table for over 25 minutes with no one coming for our drink order or anything.

A couple sat 10 minutes after us. The server told them about the daily special and took their drink order.

After flagging a server down while we were leaving. He stated that he did not even know we were there.

It was funny that there could be such a lack of service considering the OWNER Mrs. Lasher sat us at our table. Yes folks the Owner sat us and gave us our menus!!!

It just goes to show that lack luster service starts from the top down.

OK so the best part is when my wife called to let them know how disappointed she was with the lack luster service considering she made the reservation a month prior and it was our anniversary. The owner rudely said that if we didn't want come back then don't bother her because she doesn't need this.

This officially is the WORST place I have ever been to.

Do not go especially if it's an important dinner. Prepared to be ignored then yelled at like a red headed stepchild

Classic 1920s architecture and Louisiana-via-California comfort food come together in a cozy Belmont Heights bungalow.. In Short
Lauded by the Long Beach Heritage Foundation for its design and decor, the restaurant itself is a prototypical Craftsman, with custom moldings and mahogany furnishings. The menu features starters such as Maryland crab cakes, bacon-wrapped scallops, and fried green tomatoes with andouille sausage in Cajun butter sauce. House-favorite entrees include cranberry-glazed meat loaf, wine-and-herb-roasted free-range chicken, and balsamic-glazed, pan-seared salmon. Among the popular dessert selections are Key lime pie and white chocolate bread pudding.

VERY DISAPOINTING. THANKSGIVING DAY 3:15 RESERVATIONS. 3 OUT OF 4 ORDERED THE TURKEY AND ALL 3 OF US WERE TOTOALLY DISAPOINTED. CONGILED GRAVY, TURKEY WAS FROM A BREAST ROLL, NOT CARVED FROM THE TURKEY AND HAD BEEN UNDER A HEAT LAMP TOO LONG AS THE EDGES WERE DRIED OUT. I HAVE EATEN AT LASHER'S ,LOT OVER THE YEARS AND THE LAST TIME I WAS DISAPOINTED WITH THE PRIME RIB (LOOKED GOOD BUT NO TASTE) I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT ONE MORE TRY AS TURKEY IS AN EASY MEAL, BUT MY PARENTS AND I TOTALLY AGREED, THAT WE WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN NOR WOULD WE SUGGEST IT TO ANYONE WE LIKE.

Horrible Service. Worst service I have ever experienced. Waited for the rude waitor to take our order, wouldn't give me a drink menu, we did not get our food at the same time, and a birthday was forgotten-so mad. Ruined a very special night. Never will I go here again.

Fine Dining Without Attitude. This is a great, warm restaurant with excellent food and service. The menu ranges from "Chefy" to classic favorites. All of the food we had was superb with a real interesting wine list as well. Prime steaks were perfect and the fried green tomatoes were to die for. They just got a new liquor license so my martini craving was handled.

Lashers. The ambience is warm and the service is impeccable. The food is pretty good. It's an excellent place to take someone you want to get to know. Drawbacks? Everything on the menu is expensive. It's a great place for special occasions but a bit pricey to frequent.

Feel at home in the classy hidden Gem. This Establishment is well run and exceptional with their menu choices. If you don't enjoy mashed potatoes Lashers will make you a convert, they are the masters with the spuds! The menu is vurtually perfect, everything availble is delicious. Start with the Baked Feta Cheese and Garlic, you won't be disappointed. Definately Call ahead. The Staff is wonderful and they are more than willing to accomidate you and your party if it is an emergency arrises and another restaurant decides to not honor your reservation - we've had this happen before. They sat us outside (heated, and provided us with a complimentary starter). Don't pass this restaruant up, it is definately an impressive location.
