I am amazed at the negative reviews. I have eaten there at least fifty times (I live in the area) and have had only very good food, very good service as well as reasonable corkage.

I have taken many friends there, and have had nothing but compliments in all categories.

I did find the brisket a little dry, but my friend liked it that way.

A bargain; an outstanding presentation; very fine food.

Nothing but compliments.

Just went there for lunch on a beautiful day. The restaurant is adorably quaint but the food was just okay. Apple fritters were good but nothing special...we didn't even finish ours. Great for a girls lunch.

Denny's service for 75 bucks?

I used to bring my folks and significant others to this restaurant for the tasty food, but the service was absolutely disasterous this last time that I don't ever want to go there again. It took about 15 min. to actually get service and not even an apology from our waitress !! Our salads weren't cleared from thje table until 20 min. later. We had to beg for service. We would've cooked the food faster ourselves and at least not have had to deal with paying so much money. I felt like we were at Denny's with rude servers. The manager was absolutely clueless!!

A Taste of the South.

This unique little southern atmosphere provides excellent service and a variety of southern dishes from fried green tomatoes to dixie cut lemon caper chicken or ribs.

If you live in Orange County, they have rrecently opened a restaurant in Los Alamitos, " shenandoah at the Arbor".

It is a slightly different menu, but they still come serve you hot,fresh rolls and apple fritters throughout your meal. Yumm.

My family frequently goes to this restaurant for special occasions.

• Pros: Quality of food, outside,inside dining, turtle pond with coy.
• Cons: , limited parking

Big Disapointment!!!

I went here expecting good thing from reading the reviews. Was I surprised about it all. The service was good, but the food was NOT. I had the chicken fried steak and my date had a rib and chicken bbq combo. For the price we paid you'd think the portions would be huge instead of a childs size. Thier taste was just slightly OK!!

But to be fair the biscuits and fritters were excellent!
