view & uploadvery good affordable thai food, delicious yellow curry, bad pad thai, poor service, not slow service, decent restaurant, favorite place
Consistantly excellent.. I have been here many times and it is consistantly great service unless they get super busy and there must be a reason they get super busy. I always get the duck curry because it's so good I don't really want to try anything else and it's been 3 years or so I've been going there. If you are worried about $1.50 over a rice issue I wouldn't recommend going you would be better seeking intense therapy because you truly have problems the way I read it. In fact if you are in that state of mind they are better off without you in there my words not theirs. They work hard in this restaurant and have great integrity. Bon Apetit.
Pretty good.. Restaurant is very clean and looked nice. The service wasn't slow on the night we were there. The garlic wings and won-tons were good. The yellow curry was delicious. The pad thai was average. Service was friendly and the Thai ice tea is delicious.
Do not go here. There is better Thai food elsewhere.. An honest review. The restaurant looks nice, but don't be fooled. It's not very good at all. The customer service was poor - very slow (about 20 mins) on a non-busy night for us to get our order in. We got the pad thai and green curry. First, the pad thai was dry and not very tasty at all. It also supposedly has chicken and shrimp. There was barely any chicken and only ONE piece of shrimp. Overall, the pad thai was bad and I've easily had it better at other places. Second dish was the green curry. I have to admit it was tasty, but there was barely any beef in there. It was a ton of coconut milk and bamboo shoots but barely any meat. Third, we got charged $1.50 for white rice. The waiter asked: "Rice on the side?" I thought he meant did I want the rice (which is ALMOST ALWAYS included in any meal in any decent restaurant)... But when it came time to pay the bill, the girl quickly added it up and I couldnt figure out why the tax was so high. As it turned out, there was that charge for rice they didnt tell me about when I ordered my meal. I wonder if anybody else has run into this. I know it's only a buck-fifty but I hate feeling like I'm being deceived. The girl at the front just brushed me off like nothing, hardly apologetic. Anyway, overall, I will not come back here again as I've had much better thai at numerous different places. I will also tell everybody I know not to go here. I normally don't write reviews (as you can see), but I'm a little incensed by tonight's poor, poor service and meal.
yummy curry, bad service, closed on wed!. When we walked in, the first thing I noticed was that the place is clean! We sat down in the patio area, which is nice and sunny with a fountain. I had my 1 year old niece with me and I asked for a high chair, the waitress came out lugging the thing as if it were 200 lbs, rolling her eyes and all. I ordered a spicy stir-fry tofu w/ vgetables....I could make it better at home. It was no where near spicy, I asked for chili sauce. There thai Iced tea is good. We also ordered the yellow curry which was good. Nothing exciting here. But worth a try, you might catch the cook on a good day or something.
Why do they have to charge for the rice ?. Just don't understand that why they charge for the rice when I order yellow curry. I went down there one day to pick up my chicken curry and forgot about the rice, they didn't give me one I called back they said we didn't charge you that's why. I had curry with cut green bean in my fridge that day.
GREAT THAI, GREAT ANY FOOD!!. This place has been a long-time favorite of my husband and I. The food is wonderful -something for every palate. The atmosphere is exotic, elegant and easy all at once. The service is very courteous.
