The Scene
This LBC mainstay has been the watering hole of choice for South Bay and Orange County lesbians for more than 20 years. By combining the dual vibes of unassuming neighborhood joint downstairs (pool, darts and video games) and sleek dance club upstairs (elegant booths and constantly packed dance floor), the bar manages to accommodate a great cross-section of the community.
The Draw
Now that it's only open three days a week, the focus has become less gender-specific. Which is probably due in part to the fierce respect and loyalty accorded to the Suite's long-running, mostly male Latin music party on Thursday nights. Following suit, Fridays have been re-dubbed "Boybar," and hosts a diverse crowd of energetic guys and go-go dancers who dig Top 40 tunes. Saturdays are still all about the ladies and feature hip-hop sounds and go-go girls, who beguile a playfully rowdy crowd.

Save MoneyDrink specials are available Thursday and Saturday nights, but not on Fridays, which is when an outside promoter takes over the bar.
ParkingThe lot can only accommodate a handful of cars. Two adjoining, much larger lots around the southeast corner on Newport--on the right-hand side of the street--are also available.
