Great independent bookstore. Planet Books has a great collection of classic literature paperbacks for around $1 that would make a high school English teacher happy. It also has an extensive science fiction paperback collection focusing on Isaac Asimov, and is strong in modern literature, history, travel books, and random vintage paperbacks that are sure to delight. Baseball idols like Mickey Mantle adorn the walls, and you might catch the owner playing a game with his friends at the register desk. Be sure to catch out this store for an interesting alternative to chain bookstores like Borders.
