During the day time, this place looks nice. It's quiet and there are lots of plants.

What you dont see are the creepy people hanging out in the alley behind until 3am. Driving by with their music thumping, waking up your children. A gang-related shooting happened in the alley on the Friday before Easter 2009.

Most of the neighbors are nice, but outside of the apartment you feel unsafe, especially at night. Cars are continually broken into, and management sends memos to "call police, we are not responsible." They do not care for the safety of the tenants. There is never any parking since many tenants abandon their vehicles and never drive them.

Maintenance takes forever to respond, our shower flooded and it took 2 hours for them to come while our bathroom was covered in mucky water.

Upon move-out they will charge you for everything: cleaning, painting, carpets. Regardless of whether you clean, or fix everything yourself. You will have to take them to court to get your deposit back.

If I could go back, I would never have rented here. We moved because the neighborhood was progressively getting worse and it wasn't safe for our kids to play outside. Who know the real criminals worked in the office. They keep your security deposit without any explanation.

Again, please avoid this place. I promise, there are better places to live. Just not this place. if I could give this place zero stars, I would.

• Cons: dangerous neighbors. No parking, keeps security deposit

Living there was okay, the alley was noisy and a bit shady but it was livable. BUT, when my roommates and I left to find a bigger apartment, they kept our deposit and charged us $700+ (for replacing the carpet which looked the same as we took it, for painting it and for cleaning the blinds to name a few). DO NOT RENT HERE, I wish I would have found the negative ratings before I did.
