UNFORGIVABLE BAD SERCICE - COLD FOOD - $85.50 !!!

UNFORGIVABLE BAD SERVICE! We were virtually IGNORED for nearly half an hour and when we finally demanded to now where our food was (we were then the last people in the restaurant) it took TEN more minutes - when the food arrived the vegetables were COLD the pasta was less than 1/2 cup! and the fish was hot - The waitress explained that she was "busy with closing duties" WHAT?!?!? THE BILL WAS $85.50 !!! For cold food and @#$# Service NEVER AGAIN!

SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE - I remembered a nice little place with good Italian food, the owner Joe - very cordial. We came for a special dinner to celebrate our engagement and were horrified at the treatment we received - JOE IS SELLING SO THAT MY EXPLAIN - but never again.

Sometimes very good, but inconsistent quality & service

I really want to love this place since it's the only real restaurant in my 'hood...but I just have had too many negative or mediocre experiences to give it unqualified props. Most of the food is good or very good...my husband likes the lemon chicken, we often get pizza or calzones, and the house salad is nice. The minestrone soup is sub-par. But my biggest complaint is that whenever you order to go, you never know what you're going to get...honestly, there is always something wrong with our order, even though we usually get the same thing. They'll give me meat sauce instead of marinara (I'm a vegetarian) for my calzone, or they'll forget to add mushrooms, etc., etc. ALso, the staff (mostly high school kids that don't seem to care much about their jobs) are indifferent and not very helpful or friendly. This place is good, but it could be so much better!

• Pros: Good pizza, nice neighborhood atmosphere
• Cons: Often very crowded, inconsistent service & food quality

Food ok but service is immature

I am an ex-New Yorker ( 10 yrs). The food here is ok & will give them B. But, the service is sloppy.

Let me clarify.., the buss staff ( older, more experienced persons who assists the high school aged wait staff)

they actually save it from going really bad. the waiters and waitresses ( lack of experience?) can definitely goof on the service/ or some( not all) have snooty immature attitude. If you have someone to impress for dinner or out of town guests- I would not recommend this place. Also, unless you are a regular or a local.., might not be made to feel all that welcomed. For the price they have on the menu.., patrons need better service but, what u get is big quantity of food, sloppy-or snooty( or both) service with less than audible welcome in your ear.

• Pros: large portion
• Cons: Sloppy service, not that welcoming and less than good ambience.

Italian Food, The way it should be!

This is exactly how Italian food should taste! I lived in New York for 9 months and found out there what Italian food was really supposed to taste like. I was convinced I'd return home to southern california and never love Italian food again... Until I found Ferraro's. You won't lose, EVERY dish there is delicious. Their house Chianti is superb and Their Marinara sauce is addicting!

• Pros: Great Food, Great Service
• Cons: Long Wait!!

Italian?? Heck Yes!

Their pizza is delectable ; Their Pastas mouth watering, Main Courses are sinful... and the deserts keep me coming back for more! Service is excellent and well worth the wait!
