The BEST restaurant in Long Beach breakfast & lunch!. If you read the review by BlockHeadMark, please consider the screen name! ;-)

Coffee Cup Cafe has the most tasty food, prepared precisely as ordered, served by the friendliest people in Long Beach and priced perfectly! No matter what your food preferences are: vegetarian, vegan, meat eater, whatever - this is the best place in town. Even if you're not prepared for the "Cash Only" policy, there's an ATM in the restaurant for your convenience.

You usually have to wait to be seated (that shows you how popular this place is); however, they offer two types of coffees (regular and the flavor-of-the-day) for consumption to make your wait tolerable. I typically order the Dr. W - prepared with egg whites, chicken, spinach, onion and brown rice (I prefer no green peppers) and served with toast. Friends have ordered the Torta (sandwich), tofu items, tacos and salads. No-one I know has ever disliked anything they've ordered. Of course, they DID read how the item was prepared prior to ordering, which is usually helpful.

Coffee Cup Cafe is a great restaurant choice - you won't be disappointed!

No, no, no. You ever had a breakfast so bad you wanted to drag your tongue along the sidewalk just to get the taste off?

The Coffee Cup has the trifecta: bad food, bad service, and bad prices. So if you're looking to get ripped off, treated like dirt, and enjoy some disgusting food, you've found the right place.

I ordered the bacon and potato scramble. It came with zero eggs, a little bacon, and an entire plate full of potatoes. If I wanted a plate full of undercooked, tasteless potatoes I'd be in the kitchen with a potato peeler and a crackpipe. I asked for a refill on my coffee and didn't get it. The guy even refilled the girl next to me's cup but not mine. Moron. To top it off the bill came to $14. $14 for a breakfast I didn't eat and service I didn't get. I won't be back.

The Best Best Best Tortilla Soup EVER in Socal!!!!. It's the only soup they serve and I have to say, THEY DO IT RIGHT! Move over Houston's! The Coffee Cup has taken this traditional Mexican recipe to a whole new level! If you love authentic tortilla soup, this is the place to go. Totally affordable food and beverages, great service, healthy and yummy sandwiches too!
