Great sandwiches and pasta

I go to CSULB and this is the spot to go to between afternoon and evening classes (go here pretty much once a week), food is awesome, prices are very reasonable for the quantity they give you, and servers are nice.

• Pros: Great food, great prices, friendly staff
• Cons: You won't come here for the view, buy you'll stay for the good food and cheap prices.

italian wedding soup heaven!

This is an unadvertised gem that has not changed it's proces in 13 years. The owners/operators are both friendly, courteous and always cheerful. the food portions and quality are more than you would expect at the proces charged.

• Pros: inexpensive but good, good parking shops, Near target & sears
• Cons: ambiance

Deli News is one of the best values in Long Beach. Almost everything on the menu is under $5.00, and they give you so much, you won't go home hungry! The food is very good, and the people that own & run it are very nice.
