Cakes are sweeter than the service

The cakes are very tasty. If you bother throwing a party for someone don't get a supermarket cake. I have no problems with the cakes, my family has bought about 5-7 a year from them. At some point though it is only a cake and the rude service( I believe Mike) is going to send me someplace else. Since when did a baker sit on such a high horse. Not much you can do though when your kids birthday party is the next day. Just stuck it up and go somewhere else next time. There are some other good bakeries in Pasadena.

• Cons: Nothing is worth the rude service

Great service, but mostly great cakes

Called the bakery and ordered the 3-berry cake upon recommendation from a friend. They were able to accomodate my request despite the short notice. The cake become the talk of the party. It is what I look for in a cake, great combination of flavor and texture. It looked great as a whole and even more appetizing after you cut the cake to show the layers and the berries. It's a little bit on the pricy side, but worth every $$$ :)

Chocolate Flourless Cake

Patticakes is my favorite destination for picking up birthday cakes! There isn't anything that I have had that is not simply delicious. My favorite is the Chocolate Flourless Cake. If you love rich chocolate you will love this cake.

Additionally, they have great pastries and cookies if you want to get a quick pastry fix with your morning coffee.
