Editorial Review for Coffee Gallery – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
Reminiscent of a Central American coffee warehouse, the small building fills with neighborhood types who just want to hang out and make a cup of joe last all afternoon. Though the menu offers several fancy coffee concoctions, regular drip is the real draw; with a muffin, bagel or Danish, it's a popular breakfast order. The lunch menu features pizza, soups and salads. An adjoining 60-seat theater hosts live folk/roots music performances, comedy shows and yoga classes.

If you are looking for just a good cup of coffee, not the "double decaf low-fat latte" stuff, but a real cup of good coffee, try this place. The bonus is great entertainment on the weekends for VERY little money (Usually $10-$15 for "name" entertainers). I don't know how they do it. They have people there in an intimate setting that would cost $45-$60 to see in one of the larger venues. DEFINITELY check it out!

Pros: Relaxed, Friendly, Inexpensive

Cons: A little out of the w

Unpretentious coffee bar treats local loyals to hot beverages and acoustic music.  See the full editorial review.
